Summer day (Dita e Verës) is a pagan holiday stemming from Shkumbin (Elbasan). The town is famous for the temple of Mountain Muse or Zana Malit, known as the goddess of hunting, forest, and nature.

Festivals like Nowruz and Saint George's Day are celebrated with great enthusiasm, and the Gjirokastër National Folklore Festival is a major cultural event, showcasing Albania's rich folk music and dance heritage.
